I live in Richmond, Virginia, and currently attend Maggie Walker Governor's School. I also do some freelance design work, including web design, print design, photo retouching, and programming; my skill sets include knowledge of HTML, XHTML, PHP, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as experience with Dreamweaver, Frontpage, Fireworks, Apache, and MySQL. If you have a project and are interested in my work, feel free to contact me using the form below, or on my cell – 804.363.8255.
WHAT'S KIGOE? KiGOE is my design firm, as it were. In addition to those projects on the left – which I did independent of KiGOE – I also created many sites under the KiGOE name. KiGOE's taking a bit of a (well-deserved) rest right now, so I can't point you to it's site; hopefully, I'll have screenshots of some KiGOE projects up soon.
The Hammer It Home Project, an effort by Sigma Chi and the Richmond and VCU Habitat for Humanity organizations, needed a site to sign up volunteers, as well an administrative framework to manage the data. A clear, easy-to-use form was set up, along with confirmation emails. KiGOE's 42blue administrative framework provides a clean, easy, secure way to manage the data.
A website designed and devloped for the Maggie Walker Governor's School German Program. A public website with information about the language and program, as well as multimedia content created in class was set up, as was a email and calendar system.
KiGOE's administrative framework can be flexibly applied to numerous widespread applications, allowing powerful, easy, and secure data management and site control. Uses PHP and MySQL.
The purpose for this site, kept in mind during the design process, is to easily and accessibly provide information about Dr. Philipsen's classes and schedule while, at the same time, being easy to maintain and update. Utilizes XHTML and CSS. Created with Fireworks and Notepad.
A personal page created to share photos from vacations and trips, as well as for programming fun. Utilizes PHP, HTML, CSS, and Javascript. Created with Fireworks and Smultron.
KiGOE's last homepage, with an image layout for Helloworld, a personalizable homepage. Images created with Fireworks.
Fitting into the homepage's theme, this page was created to be friendly and more helpful than those cryptic "404 Error" pages.
Just for fun, I created a web-based chat system, shown here in action, using PHP and Javascript.
The website for a monthly newsletter with political commentary. Utilizes PHP, CSS, and HTML. Created with Dreamweaver and Fireworks.
A site providing information about Albert Hill Middle School, a public middle school in Richmond. Utilizes XHTML and CSS. Layout created to be easy for Hill faculty and staff to manage. Created with Fireworks and Dreamweaver.
